Existing measures of assessing sexual dysfunction are not inclusive 😞 for those identifying as SGM

There are no measures to assess safety and satisfaction of anal sex with active UC or perianal CD ☢️⛑️

Additionally, little is known about how surgery for IBD 👩‍⚕️🔪 affects sexual dysfunction and sexual practices in the SGM community

This may be compounded by gender affirming medications or surgeries 🏳️‍⚧️⚧️

🧫 STI risk may be ⬆️ by immunosuppressive medications

There is limited guidance for anal cancer risk and screening 🦠 in SGM patients with IBD

PrEP 💊 use and efficacy has not been studied
