The last day of #ISC24 has been a busy day for the #ExCALIBUR team, running multiple workshops and giving talks. Nick Brown presented benchmarking of the RISC-V #SG2042 using the #ExCALIBUR testbed, comparing against other #HPC architectures.

The sophgo #SG2042 machines in the EPCC testbed are very popular, really interesting to see from Daniele Gregori chief science officer of E4 Computer Engineering that they have built a dual CPU server node around this. Will be an attractive proposition for RISC-V in #HPC

⁦Nick Brown⁩ kicking off the ⁦RISC-V⁩ workshop at #ISC24 #HPC with a quick refresher for the attendees.

This year's @TeamEPCC - and their EPCC staff mentors - worked tremendously hard during the #ISC24 Student Cluster Competition. Even though they didn't win a trophy, we still think they're champions. Well done TeamEPCC!
