I am appalled by the Russian missiles attacks in densely populated areas in #Chernihiv (Ukraine) today, which caused death and injuries.

I chaired a DROI Committee Press delegation last October in Chernihiv where I met with the community: they have already suffered too much from this war, due to attacks, arbitrary executions and torture that are investigated as crimes against humanity and war crimes.

DROI Committee Press Violations of international humanitarian law must stop. My thoughts are with the victims and their families.
