Glad that European Parliament shares the European Committee of the Regions call to further recognise the important role subnational governments play in effective climate action.

We count on EU2022_CZ and all Member States to get this recognition confirmed by the Environment Council next week on #COP27 .

4⃣days of exchanges with #EUCities and #EURegions in 3⃣0⃣0⃣sessions to reiterate the importance of #CohesionPolicy for all.

We will continue to work and support their development, leaving no one behind!

Fires, floods, drought: all these disasters are a stark reminder of the climate emergency we live in today. This is a question of survival.

Overcoming the climate crisis will be more efficient if done with regions and cities. Disaster preparedness must be a priority.
