Woke up this morning to the drop in temperature, and this was my first thought:

First staging week of Opera North and South Asian Arts-uk’s Orpheus = done!
So many moments in rehearsal where I have to pinch myself that this is my job - it’s going to be stunning 🥰🥰

We're pleased to open applications of our next round of singer auditions which will take place on Thursday 22 September at National Opera Studio between 2pm and 6pm.

We are particularly keen to hear from singers with some degree of proficiency in Spanish.

So pleased to have been asked to direct this wonderful gala with the fabulous Jervaulx Singers. Three days of gorgeous music making in beautiful Yorkshire was just what the doctor ordered. We’re on tonight!

.Northern Opera Group knocking it out of the park again with a phenomenal Silla tonight. Huge congrats to Laura Attridge and the entire team - so pleased I was in Yorkshire this week and got a chance to see it!
