Today we celebrate Massachusetts students being able to qualify for in-state tuition and financial aid regardless of immigration status. With Maura Healey’s approval of #TuitionEquity in the state budget, MA joins 23 other states & DC that have similar in-state tuition laws.
Through a partnership between EngNewBostonians-EW, CCDS, Immigrant Advancement - Boston, and others, four friends from Medellin, Colombia, were able to carry out their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs by bringing healthy, authentic Latin cuisine to the Boston community.
