My motivation to do science?
I was born and raised in a rural community in Oaxaca, Mexico. I was a child with no dreams because I knew I couldn't dream. 🥹
One day someone told me that I could be a scientist too.
My goal is to provide resources for those who have dreams!

Full house at my vet school Alma mater UFG to listen to me talk about microbiomes. 🧫🦠🧬💻🐄🥛🐓It has been wonderful to be back after 12 years and share my academic journey with the next generation. Front and center are 2 mentors whom I owe most of what I am now!

Am saying nothing new here, but it's depressing to think that our primary means of communicating science to other scientists is so polluted. We've tainted our products with the literary equivalent of fentanyl. /7
