With the help of VMI and its partners, the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Microbiome Society (VUMS) is hosting a virtual food drive! $1 = 4 meals. We’d love your support — we’re 1/3 of the way to our goal!

Beautiful comparative genomics study by the SEA-PHAGES group. A few more phages join the ranks of Wolbachia's phage WO in dedicating a large portion of their genomes to a single, incredibly long gene (~13.5kb)

Virtually attending the Symposium with Christine Girtain NJSTOY2023 brought some much needed hope and inspiration during these heavy times. Wow, still blown away by the authentic, top-tier research! I hope these young scientists consider Vanderbilt University for undergrad.
