Post #1- #femalePI #awareness Our lab has given 3 science dissemination talks to ~12yr old students this year. We showed a lab pic, and asked who was the PI. Several members were guessed as possible PI, but only 1 student guessed a female member. How can we improve this #bias?

Post #2 - #femalePI #awareness When asking for child/family support to attend to conferences/invited talks, I’ve been asked (several times) if I am still breastfeeding. This is personal and we should not be required to answer these types of questions to receive family support.
