Today, I was honoured to attend the memorial service that recognised 82 Victorian CFA firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty. While at the memorial I reflected at the memorial on the 82 FFMVic fallen.

International Firefighter Day recognises the selfless and challenging role of firefighters across the world.

To all of FFMVic firefighters thank you today we show our gratitude for the sacrifices you make to protect our community today we reflect on our 82 fallen comrades.

FFMVic leaders joined agency representatives from across Victoria, Aus and NZ to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have fallen in the line of duty at the annual AFAC memorial in Canberra. 17 added to the memorial, a sobering reminder of the risks faced by EM workers.

FFMVic Planned Burning continues with ecological biomass reduction burns at our critical grasslands in the west. Taking care of this one of the most important and underrepresented ecosystems in our state. DEECA Victoria

Fantastic to see La Larr Ba Gauwa mountain bike park reopen this week. Located on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, the park has been closed to repair all 11 trails following damage from the 2022 floods.
