Today, we celebrate eight years with our beloved Jake at Farm Sanctuary!

Here, Jake is seen purely for the unique individual he is — not as a commodity with an imaginary “value” placed on him. Though he’s growing older, he has the spunk and energy of a younger sheep.

As a cow used for dairy, Layla's life could've been entirely different. Once milk production declines, most cows are considered 'spent' & sent to slaughter.

At Farm Sanctuary, this beauty shines on the inside & out, with the freedom to do what she does best: simply be a cow.
