At 18:23hrs crews from Kirton Fire Station Donington Community Fire Station and
Boston fire station attended reports of a conifer hedge fire on Green Lane, Swineshead. This was severe damage by fire to 15M of conifer hedge and Light damage by fire to telegraph pole. This was controlled burn out of control.

15:28 - Kirton Fire Station & Boston fire station attended Avalon Road, Kirton to a road traffic collision involving 3 vehicles, all persons self-released & crews assisted East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust with casualty care & made all 3 vehicles safe by disconnecting batteries using small tools

Plan an escape route and make sure everyone knows how to get out.

Make sure exits are kept clear.

06:52 - Kirton Fire Station and Boston fire station went to A52 Swineshead to an RTC. Crews assisted with casualty care and lifting of one one person onto stretcher, as well as with traffic management and making the scene safe by disconnecting battery of one vehicle.

22:17 - Spalding FireStation, Kirton Fire Station and HolbeachFire&Rescue attended a RTC on Mill Marsh Road, Moulton Seas End. Crews made 1 car safe by disconnecting the battery using small tools and gave casualty care to 2 people.

14:37 - HolbeachFire&Rescue Kirton Fire Station attended a car within a farm building alight on Moulton Seas End, Spalding. Severe fire damage to the whole car. 1 hose reel and 2 breathing apparatus used to extinguish. Caused by sparks from a grinder whilst works were being carried out.

14:32 Donington Community Fire Station and Kirton Fire Station attended a 2 vehicle RTC on A52 Bridge End Causeway. Crews used Holmatro cutting gear to release 2 casualties and made both vehicles safe.

23:23 Donington Community Fire Station Kirton Fire Station and Spalding FireStation attended a building fire on Bridge End Causeway in Donington. Severe fire damage to 1 motorcycle and smoke damage to remainder of building. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel and 1 thermal imaging camera to extinguish

Fires from cooking appliances account for over half of all fire injuries in the home.
Don’t get distracted whilst cooking. If you need to leave the kitchen whilst cooking, take pans off the heat.

09:50 - Spalding FireStation Kirton Fire Station attended an RTC on Stockhouse Lane, Surfleet, Spalding. Crews made vehicle safe by disconnecting the battery and assisted the casualty from the vehicle.

22:30 - Crews from Kirton Fire Station LevertonFireStation & Boston fire station attended a fire involving large quantity of hay bales and 2x tractors on Rowdyke Road, Wyberton.

at 22:27 crews from Donington Community Fire Station Kirton Fire Station Sleaford Fire Spalding FireStation and an Officer attended Horbling Fen Drove, Horbling. This was to 1 wooden farm shed and content on fire. Crews used 2 Breathing Apparatus and 2 Hose Reels to extinguish.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have in the past 24hrs received and dealt with 140 flooding related calls the majority of which were in the South of the County.

Badly parked cars often block fire engines from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue from getting to where they need to be.

08:15 crews from Boston fire station and Kirton Fire Station attended a building fire on Queen Street in Boston. Fire damage to airfryer, oven and kitchen units and smoke damage to rest of property. Crews used 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus and 2 thermal image cameras to extinguish.

19:15 Kirton Fire Station Wainfleet fire Station attended a tumble dryer on fire on Wainfleet Road, Freiston. Fire damage to tumble dryer and contents. Smoke damage to downstairs of building. Crews used 1 hose reel, 2 breathing apparatus and 1 Positive Pressure Ventilation Fan.

12:25 - Boston fire station Kirton Fire Station attended 2 garden sheds on fire on Allington Garden, Boston. Severe fire damage to 2 wooden garden sheds & contents, and 5 metres of wooden fence. Extinguished using 2 hose reels. Caused by hot ashes left next to shed catching shed alight.

18:22 - Kirton Fire Station and Donington Community Fire Station attended a RTC on A17, Algarkirk. Crews made 1 vehicle safe using small tools and assisted East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust with carrying 1 person out of vehicle.
