Government of Uganda through UNRA_UGANDA is implementing the upgrading of Kisubi-Nakawuka-Nateete (27km), Nakawuka-Kasanje-Mpigi (22km), Nakawuka-Mawagulu-Nanziga-Maya (11km), Kasanje-Buwaya (9km), and Entebbe-Nakiwogo (3.5km) Road.

This initiative, funded by the Government of Uganda , entails upgrading the current Class C Gravel road to Asphaltic paved standard.

Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah. PRIME MINISTER will today officiate the groundbreaking ceremony for Kisubi—Nakawuka—Nateete,Nakawuka—Kasanje—Mpigi, Nakawuka—Mawagulu—Nanziga-Maya,Kasanja -Buwaya, and Entebbe—Nakiwogo road upgrading from Class C Gravel road to Asphaltic paved standard.

The 33-kilometer Alwi-Nebbi road reconstruction is vital for improving connectivity in West Nile,linking Pakwach and Nebbi.This project will boost economic activity and trade, enhancing the road's capacity for traffic to the Democratic Republic of Congo via Goli and Vurra border.

This will bring the total GoU release for FY 2023/24 to Shs 28.564 trillion (113.1% of the approved Budget and 98.4% of the approved Budget).
