Today is UN Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade

GMB Union says the UK should properly mark a national day remembering transatlantic slavery.

We must learn from our history and not repeat the horrific mistakes of the past #RememberSlavery

'I was born an activist'

Very sad to hear of the death of Roy Hackett - leader of the Bristol bus boycott and paved the way for the Race Relations Act 1965.

We owe so much to the Black workers who have stood up against racism, and to those who continue to fight every day.
