Best of luck Dilraj Kaur! Hoping you have a wonderful founding assembly in Peterborough. People still remember ours with Greater Manchester Citizens 5 years ago fondly, such an important milestone and excited to see your chapters journey 👏🏼
And here’s something we have achieved in Year 1: every GM uni has committed to paying a real #LivingWage addressing the #CostOfLivingCrisis , in-work poverty and the health and wellbeing for thousands of GM citizens.

'We're introducing the new Living Wage rates this month. We see a value in that. It brings out the best in our staff, it increases productivity, makes us more efficient, so we're quite happy to do that.'

Good to see a report coming to Trafford Council showing the great progress made by Andrew Western and Trafford Labour in achieving the Living Wage Foundation for social care workers. If you're in home care and day services in Trafford you should be receiving the Foundation Living Wage!
