I got to switch to stage 2 of my plan a week earlier now (possibly in turbo mode) as the competition has massively stepped up.

The legal aid scheme has been systematically dismantled by successive governments, undermining the ability of people to hold power to account.

That is contrary to the basic principles of any democracy: access to justice, equality before the law and the rule of law for all.

Seriously, these couriers delivering our parcels are working their socks off in the freezing cold. Offered a young man a hot cuppa & toast to take away, but he was grateful for fruit & a packet of crisps. Clearly, the lad was hungry with no time to take a break.
