Primary 5 and 7 have come together twice today to hear about the work of Declan O’Kane who is a semi professional footballer this morning and this afternoon to hear about the work of Leah and Nicola from People Know How. #ScotCareersWeek23

P3 and P4 had their first special visitor today for Scottish careers week. PC Hughes answered our questions and explained the different skills needed to be an officer as well as what his job entails. Thank you again PC Hughes!

More of P3 tortizza making!

Primary 3 were learning about the eatwell plate last term and today we were able to make our own torizzas (pizzas from tortilla wraps) using the different elements of the eatwell plate! They were delicious and fun to make. We also learned a little about food safety.

We still want to add a few finishing touches like fairy light to the ceiling but here is our new sensory room so far. A huge thank you to all the carers for your donations and to the social committee for the magical rug. The nursery children are loving the new room 💫
