Early this morning Gardaí in Kilmainham, Dublin 8, using the TruSpeed camera, clocked nine speeding offences in a 60 km/h zone with some drivers doing between 75 km/h to 99 km/h.
📸The drivers were fined.

Blanchardstown Roads Policing were keeping an eye out for anti-social activity at car cruises.
🛑Four vehicles were seized for having no insurance or tax.
🛑One driver has had 10 vehicles seized since 2009 for various offences.
🛑Drivers fined & some face court.

Bridewell Gardaí came across this poorly parked car causing an obstruction in Stoneybatter.
When they spoke with the driver it transpired that they had been disqualified.
The car itself was uninsured, untaxed and had no NCT.

While conducting a checkpoint near Roundwood Co. Wicklow this afternoon, we stopped this car - the driver had no insurance.
But what's more, none of the three rear seat passengers were wearing seatbelts.
All five occupants have been fined, and the car seized.

Our Commercial Vehicle Unit seized this lorry at Dublin Port which has not been taxed since it was imported into Ireland.
You can only drive a lorry professionally when you have a valid driver CPC card - he didn't have one.
Neither had he a haulage licence.

A fake insurance disc is one thing.
A false insurance cert like this one presented to Naas Gardaí is another thing altogether - that means you go from a road traffic offence to a possible fraud charge.

The Commercial Vehicle Unit carried out a multi-agency checkpoint with the RSA Ireland on the Con Colbert Road, Kilmainham recently.
During the course of the checkpoint, one vehicle was seized for having no insurance.

Irishtown Gardaí stopped this car on the N11 in Dublin 4 after they spotted on their Mobility device that it hadn't been taxed for over a year and a half.
They then learned that the driver didn't have insurance or a valid NCT, and he had no driving licence either.

Cavan Gardaí stopped this car after seeing it being driven erratically near Breffni Park during yesterday's game.
The young man had no insurance, no tax or NCT and the roadside drug test lit up - positive for cocaine, cannabis, opiates, benzos and methamphetamines.
