Geraldine Herbert Mary Sinnott I would really like to see RSA Ireland push for a similar hierarchy of road users here.
It could be transformational if done correctly.
The UK authorities have failed in the main communicate these changes to all road users, so you’ve a mixed bag of confusion between old and new.
Given the current focus on road safety, implementing some simple changes to the rules of the road, akin to those adopted in the UK, could significantly enhance the safety of our roads for all users #RoadSafety

Really hope the New Transition Year (TY) Road Safety programme is more focused on teaching our young people to be road users and not simply motorists, not all young people will go on to be drivers but they all will be road users #RoadSafety
