The 🇩🇪 Team Luftwaffe dropped again 11 tons of humanitarian goods over #Gaza today. A joint operation with 🇯🇴 & others, air drops are carried out for weeks now. But they can’t substitute land access to cope with the needs. Seeing Gaza from above left a deep impression on me.

MENA colleagues from Italy MFA for consultations today in Berlin. The dangerous situation in the Middle East after 🇮🇷 attacks on 🇮🇱 was one of the main topics. Important exchange with European key partner and friend 🇮🇹, also on renewable energy & migration.

.Außenministerin Annalena Baerbock spoke on the phone with the Iranian Foreign Minister about the tense situation in the Middle East today. Avoiding further regional escalation must be in everyone’s interest. We urge all actors in the region to act responsibly and exercise maximum restraint.
