Random one but if anyone can help: I’d like to relearn how to ride a bicycle. My quads won’t be strong enough to ride how I previously/normally would. I think I’d need a hybrid push/electric that also provides much balance & stability for start and stop. If this exists? Any recs?

A great result for our ladies captain Elaine Mckechnie who doubled up at the Trail Outlaws Wooler Trail Half Marathon yesterday. Not only taking 1st V40 lady but 1st lady overall.

A brilliant race from our V40 team (2 of them 50+) taking 3rd place in the Elswick Harriers Norman Woodcock relays. Anna Fletcher's now off competing for GB in the World Triathlon Championships & Andy Heppel looking for an England vest this season. Steve Boddy 💙 is already a legend

The memory of running over 7 miles in knee-deep mud 6 years ago is still fresh in the mind. Watching Simon Daniels warming up in wellies was a highlight.

Great results from yesterday's NECAA Cross Country Relay Championships. Bronze medals for our U13 girls and Silver medals for our U13 boys and U17 ladies. The first medals for some but not the last. Well done to all our other teams.

Get involved in this race. We've seen some great racing in the last few years and there's a pub about 100m from the finish line.
