Wrote for The Nation about what we have been watching over the past 24 hours. The people in power are terrified of the strength of this movement, and they are doing everything they can to punish students for having the audacity to challenge them. thenation.com/article/activi…
Police were quite literally throwing tables and pushing students down the stairs until one passed out. Inviting the NYPD onto campus at Columbia University University has both destroyed more property and endangered more people than the original occupation of the building.
