This week’s assemblies have been focusing on safe environments. KS4 received advice about sexual harassment, whilst KS3’s met Lesley Paterson who is Warrington Borough Council’s School and Residential travel advisor to discuss bike safety.

Congratulations 🎊 again to Martha Bailey who was now crowned u15 British champion at the weekend.

Our Performing Arts students had a fantastic time on their second day in London, they took part in a backstage tour of the National Theatre, visited the National Gallery and went to see Mary Poppins in the evening!
Students have been a credit to the department and the school.

An ex- student's parent donated these trophies to inspire students to love Food Technology as much as Ethan did.
Awards are given out termly and are returned to pass to the next winner.

Our Performing Arts students arrived in London yesterday, they have had a stage combat and music workshop and a Q&A with an actor from The Lion King.

They were going to watch the show last night, we look forward to hearing more from them!

Our GCSE Food & Nutrition students have been showing off their culinary skills preparing incredible dishes during an extended after school session.

Thanks to Mrs Knight and the Food Technology department for supporting our talented students!

Each year as part of our 'Barrow Hall College Investment' we select several students for scholarships in different subjects plus commitment to community work and sport.

This year each pupil will receive £500 in support of their studies.

The Music department would like to pass on their congratulations to Aaden E in Year 9 who has just passed his Grade 2 Guitar with Merit!

This week KS4 assemblies will be delivered by Cheshire Police on knife crime prevention and first aid as part of Operation Sceptre Knife Crime Week.

Next week is Anti-Bullying week and we are delivering assemblies with this as our focus to all year groups.

Monday 14th is National Wear 'Odd Socks' Day. Students are welcome to come into school in odd socks for that day.

Today, students and staff observed a minute's silence to pay respects to those who have fallen in the service of their country.
Mr Evans and Student Leaders laid a wreath of poppies in our memorial garden. They will represent the school on Sunday at the local remembrance service.
