🌿 Our Parks & Natural Assets team has planted over 200 drought-tolerant native species on The Esplanade!

🌸Once established, these plants will bloom year-round, adding colour and attracting butterflies and bees, while maintaining traffic visibility.

🚶We’ve been successful in obtaining funding for three road safety projects under the annual Transport Accident Commission’s (TAC) Local Government Grant Program.

🚸One project involves a raised wombat crossing near the Oberon High School entrance.

🏛 Phoebe, Daniel and Angelle are three of our passionate young leaders who have been selected to represent Geelong at the Victorian Youth Parliament.

A mentoring program is followed by Youth Parliamentarians introducing, debating, and voting on their Bills.
