The Conservation Volunteers of St Mellons & Trowbridge planted 200 native wildflowers at our ancient woodlands Cath Cobb Woods on the weekend. We planted in the woodland glade area and around the pond, details in pics. Flowers, newts and birdsong, a perfect morning. Thanks all 💚

Latest data on England Biodiversity Indicators released today. The SSSI condition metric shows a fairly dramatic decline in the condition of these, our most treasured and valuable wildlife sites. Our best wildlife has really suffered under 14 years of Tory neglect and antagonism.
