During a period working with our Japanese partners in and around Yokosuka Naval Base, SPEY took the opportunity whilst anchored in the Tokyo Bay Area to pay respects to the JMSDF personnel sadly lost at sea in a recent helicopter crash

It’s the first naval port visit under the Japan-UK Facilitation Agreement. The Royal Navy patrol vessel is on a long-term deployment to the Indo-Pacific

Patrol ship HMS Spey has been strengthening the UK's ties with the #Philippines following a visit to the country's capital. The #RoyalNavy vessel received a warm welcome in Manila after training alongside the Philippine Navy and Philippine Coast Guard.

Building on their participation during last year’s Exercise SAMA SAMA, HMS SPEY conducted a Passage at Sea Exercise, known as a PASSEX, with the Philippine Navy Ship VALENTIN DIAZ as they exited Philippine 🇵🇭 waters.

Patrol ship HMS Spey paid her maiden visit to Colombo on the latest leg of her Indian Ocean patrol.

She spent 3 days there fostering 🇬🇧-🇱🇰 relations and military cooperation, ending with a short exercise.
