Hoping the GRC will expand eligibility criteria/offer new travel awards.

Especially when disability is included as an NIH-designated population with health disparities.

The โ€˜24 MSK Biology & BioE GRS/GRC is offering our own travel awards for disabled trainees โ€” more soon!

Equipment question. We're considering getting a EVOS M5000. Does anyone have any pro/con vs. the more standard (cheaper) EVOS XL.

Obvs it does more, but do you really use it for all the its enhanced capacity?

Why would you use the M5000 vs. the XL?

Cai & colleagues recently discovered that genetic variants associated with atherosclerosis are also associated with an increased risk of intervertebral disc disease (IDD).

May interventions targeting atherosclerosis reduce IDD?

Congrats to the GRFP winners! unfortunately for most, today they received disappointment. I was rejected from GRFP/CSGF/NDSEG likely because my GPA was awful. Here are the scores for my F31, years later. 1 = best (1 to 9). If youโ€™re good, theyโ€™ll see it eventually; keep at it.
