18 years ago I oversaw the installation of new floodlights Casement Park for Antrim GAA & Ulster GAA The lights were a beacon of the growing confidence of the GAA in Belfast! They will be missed temporarily but a new beacon for the GAA, sport & communities here will follow! 🏟️

Today we have written to the new Taoiseach Simon Harris TD requesting a meeting to discuss the developing progress of our letter, which has been signed by tens of thousands of Gaels across Ireland & to discuss the views & ambitions of our signatories.

A delegation from West Belfast tourism carried out a series of engagements across NYC coinciding with the St Patrick’s Day celebrations in the US.

We look forward to welcoming a senior Trade Union delegation to West Belfast in September 2024.

We were delighted to be represented at the Mike Quill Lecture, the James Connolly Irish American Coalition Luncheon and to walk with our brothers and sisters in the USA at the New York St Patrick’s Day Parade 🙌🏼

It was an honour to join with the Transport Workers Union to deliver the Quill-Connolly lecture alongside Trade Union leader Mick Lynch and historian Lorcan Collins, celebrating two great Irish heroes, Mike Quill and James Connolly.
