More than 3 days since our contract with Spotify expired, and we STILL don't have a deal because us and Ringer Union rightly want to negotiate on language around AI...something that was given to us just hours before the deadline. This is unacceptable. Fair contract NOW!

All creators deserve clarity and agency when it comes to their work being used for AI. Gimlet Union Parcast Union Ringer Union urge Spotify to do the right thing!

For example, Spotify wants to translate podcasts into other languages (in host’s voices). We believe the consent of the host must be obtained, and a disclaimer outlining the use of AI must be present. Spotify isn’t committing. Our members should control their own voices, period.
