The Sunday Chicago Tribune was a big part of my childhood. Grandma read every section. I always read 2 sections: Arts & Entertainment (how I learned about books, movies, & musicals) and Life & Travel (inspired me to explore). What an honor to be featured in 1 of those sections!
The Book Stall Heidi Stevens It’s in print today. What rings truest is his encouragement to find places to blow your kids’ minds, something where it’s them brushing against something bigger than them. They get the awareness of how big something can be and more importantly how small most shit is. Thanks ❤️
I remain in awe of the enduring quality of the work at both the Chicago Tribune and Chicago magazine despite the heartless, inept ownership of Alden Global Capital. Perhaps not what they used to be, but both still very good.
The May issue of Chicago magazine has a cover story on 12 Great Lake Escapes and the editors asked me to write a drinking guide to Harbor Country and I've never felt so seen and also a little bit ashamed. Cheers! 🍻
