Twas the week before local elections and all has been busy for Councillor Candidate Dr Banwell-Moore - 5 fantastic canvassing sessions re-visiting & visiting lots of residents, chatting through issues, hearing hopes and wishes, championing change & encouraging residents to vote!

Two more great sessions this afternoon in Freshbrook and Covingham. Even met one of my dad’s old football referees. Apparently at the age of 5, I used to stand on the sidelines disagreeing with any decision that went against him or the team. Feisty and loyal from an early age!!!

When I was an MP previously, I often wondered why Dan was a Conservative MP. Fair play to him for having the courage of his convictions and for being honest about the state of the Conservative Party today. They are not fit to be in office.

Last week I said the Tories would never recognise their Rwanda plan was a failure.

Last night it turned out they don’t know where Rwanda is.

For every childcare place in Swindon that's filled, there's another child who needs that spot.

Parents were understandably angered by the reality on the ground, unable to get they places they need.
