Penzance May Horns is celebrated on the first Sunday in May every year. Like other May traditions in Cornwall, it represents the coming of summer and the end of winter.

Our Climate Action Youth Group Young Rangers Project launched this April, and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along!

Looking for a great day out this Bank Holiday? Sancreed Beacon is a fascinating place to explore and the bluebells in Tony’s Woods are particularly spectacular at this time of year.

This week, our Rangers, our Volunteering Officer and volunteers joined experts from the Old Light Building Conservation to start work soft capping the Crib Hut at Treffry Viaduct.

The work at the Crib Hut has been made possible by funding from GWR.

We’re hosting a special Nature Discovery Day at Treffry Viaduct on Tuesday 28th May from 11am – 2pm, and invite you all to join us!

Today is Camborne's Trevithick Day, a one-day festival celebrating the town's industrial and mining heritage and its most famous son Richard Trevithick, pioneer of high-pressure steam and who built the first ever successful road and railway locomotives.

This week, we officially launched ‘The Moor Dwellers’ Guide’, an illustrated poetry collection created in collaboration with students from Falmouth University. The launch included a talk hosted by Siân E Powell〓〓🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

Today marks the start of Porthleven Food Festival, which is held over three days every April to celebrate the fine food and drink found in Cornwall. During the festival, there are huge numbers of stalls selling not only food but also arts and crafts.

It has come to our attention that someone at Sancreed Beacon has broken a number of fence posts, cut fencing wire and tied open the gates resulting in our four Dartmoor ponies escaping the site.
