Last weekend I joined volunteers from CD11 to clear invasive plants from my local park, Nottoway Park. Since the governor vetoed my bill, I’ve had no choice but to take matters into my own hands - quite literally - in order to rid Virginia of this major threat to our ecosystem.

I attended SALT’s annual legislative update. SALT’s motto is: “The justice of a society can be measured by how the most vulnerable members of that society are faring and being treated.” I was proud to carry several bills that aligned with their mission. s-a-l-t.org
