Here it is: I challenged ex-Tory MP Mick Dubois to name one currently operational safe route for refugees to reach the UK & he couldn’t.

We’ve given a safe route to just 54 Afghans, and the government’s lie that safe routes exist is what allows people to drown in the Channel.

We may not know another language. But we all have the capability to ‘know people’.
Empathy is an innate capacity that needs to be developed. It should be taught in schools & nurtured at home.

Imagine if we all spoke people.
Now that would be something no?

EXCLUSIVE: The doctor who helped catch Britain’s worst baby killer.

Dr Ravi Jayaram spent two years pleading with hospital managers to investigate Lucy Letby.

Instead, they made him apologise and attend mediation with her.

For many years I collected evidence to show the destitution and homelessness caused by refugees only having 28 days to find a home and income, and now they’ve reduced it to 7 days. An utterly appalling move that will cause immense harm to people. theguardian.com/world/2023/aug…

509 human beings making one of the most difficult decisions in their lives: to leave their homes in search of a safer, better life.

Don’t let our xenophobic government and irresponsible media replace the empathy in your hearts with hatred and division.

Selective Empathy.

We CAN’T care for everyone

BUT if we are obviously SELECTING
to put more effort into one person over another,

then we need to ask ourselves WHY?
What is the DIFFERENCE between them?

Seeking asylum is a human right.

Sky News cut off their politics correspondent Nick Martin when he points out,

'At no point during the asylum seekers stay on the Bibby Stockholm barge, were they told to stop showering or drinking the water... And none of the 39 men removed were tested for legionnaires disease'

'If they were 39 white men from Ukraine...there would be a hue and cry, the likes of which you have never seen.'

Sangita Myska unpacks the 'massive distraction tactics' being deployed by the government after migrants were evacuated from the Bibby Stockholm due to Legionella.

There are currently NO safe & legal
routes to travel to the UK for the purpose of claiming asylum.

Our xenophobic government do NOT speak for me.

Seeking asylum is a human right.

Only yesterday we learned that 41 refugees died at sea — enough time for the news cycle to forget it ever happened.

But mothers will be mourning the loss of their children long after the headlines have moved on.

What kind of media normalises the mass drowning of human beings?

I am heartbroken by this utterly appalling loss of life.

And I am sick and tired of ritual expressions of sympathy by those who condemned these human beings to death.

Governments across Europe have blood on their hands — and we demand justice.

This image breaks me. At 2.7 degrees of warming, which is our present policy trajectory, two billion people will be exposed to extreme heat.

99.7% of those people live in the global South. People who have done nothing to cause this crisis. The injustice is staggering.
