In such circumstances, humanity comes first. In Rochelle’s case, she’s made choices I wouldn’t have. But she’s a caring doc. Anyone not wishing her well is sick.

Years ago I asked an exec at J&J why they were charging Europeans much less for their new DES. He said “That’s all they’ll pay.” The ability of CMS to negotiate the price of a handful of drugs is a start, but it’s not enough. CMS should negotiate the cost for all devices & drugs.

It’s good to see that Lt Gov Fetterman has obviously come a long way since his stroke last spring, but it would have been better to hear about the candidate’s progress from his treating neurologist and cardiologist.
