With all the money the Chambers campaign has, I would have recommended spending some on a staff position with a title like Senior Manager Of Visual Presentation.

Seems like something notable happened in 2020 to affect people's behavior in ways we don't yet fully understand.

An Indianapolis company is planning to build a soccer stadium development atop the historic Greenlawn Cemetery.

There's no question that bodies are still there. Human remains have already been found. But when? How many? The developer won't say.

This is a good point — it is genuinely very bad for coverage of protests to crowd out coverage of the thing.

But, like, it’s weird to organize protests and then complain that they are getting covered. That just goes to show protesting isn’t always a good idea.

Is Caitlin Clark the next Larry Bird, a pro franchise changing figure?
In the hours since this posted, I've gotten emails from (male) readers telling me this is a 'stupid comparison' 'idiotic' and 'laughable.”

I’ve been traveling with the fam and kind of checked out for a few days, but based on some posts I see here on X, I’m starting to think MLS-to-Indianapolis is kind of a real thing and not just a weird stunt by the clueless mayor.

As someone who watched a major metropolitan area navigate a process not dissimilar to this one, a fair bit of what James writes about here seems awfully familiar.

So much love for Arika Herron and Lindsey Erdody and the work we did together, and now Justin L. Mack for bringing his voice to the newsletter. Axios has an amazing product and I’m thankful to have been part of it.

I realize that, rhetorically, I set myself up here for the 'what about the Colts' comments. I'll do another column on that next week.
