Hoop Diversion: Hell of a season to my New York Liberty -- the Aces are just too damn good. See you next #SEAFOAMSZN
Also with a lot of candidates repeating each other's talking points, notable Jeff Chemerinsky has been the only one to mention criminal justice reform or prioritizing violent crime to dig out from D.A.'s office's large case backlog. (I've reported its 10K cases, candidates say 13K.)
They left an empty podium for D.A. Gascón. Eric Siddall won the dice roll apparently and has used the vacant seat as a prop in at least one answer, yelling at “this guy!” and pointing at the name plate.
.JOHN MCKINNEY gets the first round of applause of the night by promising to repeal “all 9 of the directives that George Gascon issued on his first day in office” if elected. These would be policies governing use of sentencing enhancements, trying juveniles as adults, etc.
