Some fun things today. First career complete game for the Kansas City Royals Cole Ragans comes a little untraditional in just five innings. Royals improve to 16-10. Salvy moves his average up to .352 on the season and ties Mike Sweeney in career Royals RBI’s with a two run bomb. Good Stuff!
Swinging a round bat to hit a round ball is hard. Really hard. The Kansas City Royals captain Salvador Perez does it pretty well. Two games left in the home stand this week. If you want to watch in person here is a link for discounted tickets. Passcode is: Hanna

Well that was quite the exciting homestand! I think I’m just like every Kansas City Royals fan out there, in that I loved the results. I was even more impressed with the different ways we won ball games. Here were four of my favorite pics.
Much like yesterday I think we need to look at and appreciate the Kansas City Royals pitching. 9 quality starts in 12 games. That hasn’t happened in MLB since 2020. The bullpen hasn’t allowed a run in 6 straight games. Read that again. None, Zero, Nodda in 6 games. It’s been fun to watch.
If you aren’t following the Diggin' Deep Podcast you should be. You might see some very familiar faces (former @royals pitcher and 1st baseman) and their content has been awesome. I’ve enjoyed it a ton. I think any fan of the Boys in Blue or baseball/sports in general will too. 🫡
I think we need to take a minute to appreciate the Kansas City Royals bullpen the last 5 games. They haven’t given up a run. In 5 games.
When my daughters get older I hope they are surrounded by other strong women who will celebrate in their successes with them. I’ve seen a lot of hate towards dawnstaley and Caitlin Clark in an either or scenario. They are both incredible women doing great things. I love that.
The Kansas City Royals won their fourth game in a row completing the series sweep. MJ Melendez had a go ahead homer in the 7th. It had good bat flip energy. I enjoyed the emotion. This is an appreciation post of that moment.
Three in a row for the Kansas City Royals. Wacha was lights out allowing 2 hits in 7 innings while striking out 8. MJ had a two run homer. Then the bullpen closed it out with two clean innings. Fun to watch!
Back to .500 for the Kansas City Royals. Singer was nails for the second start in a row. Salvy, Vinnie, MJ, and Blanco all helped to produce scoring, and McArthur shut it down with a game ending double play to finish it earning his first post game splash. Good stuff.
The Kansas City Royals put up a 10 spot tonight to back another great performance on the mound by Seth Lugo. Fun stuff to watch.
That was fun. The Kansas City Royals Brady Singer was dominate today. 7 innings, 3 hits, 0 runs, 10 strikeouts. Homers by five different Royals players as well and a debut to top it off. I have to say it was a good day.
