It’s probably time for a personal status update, but I don’t have anything to share beyond the fact that I’m doing well and I’m very happy.

While at defcon, I didn’t have time to fully address something that happened: someone decided to post my onlyfans profile right before my talk, to call out their perceived hypocrisy behind building a non-monetized p2p app framework while selling sexy content.

I was a high rizz kid, but after I became obsessed with programming at 12 my social skills started to atrophy. I hope I’ve gotten back a little lately.

If you're a frequent flyer there's an annoying asymmetry at airport security. You know that every airport has different stupid rules, but the security staff (who, I assume, usually aren't frequent flyers) are so used to their rules that they think they make perfect sense.

An obscure historical detail is that the utility had to talk to the firmware and it used a port I/O input instruction to do that (the instruction was trapped by SMM). OS/2 allowed user mode apps to do port I/O when they had a bit set in de exe header by running them in ring 2.

This is auch a cool story.

BTW, I feel comfortable “bragging” about my former life because it feels almost like that was a different person.
