This center will be a fitting addition to Liberty University’s state of the art campus. Pictured below is the door students will enter through to learn about the university’s founder and mission.

I just received an updated photograph of the construction site for the Jerry Falwell Center. Please continue to pray with us that this building will be used to inspire Champions for Christ.

It is my privilege to reveal the Path of Champions in the upcoming Jerry Falwell Center. The Path of Champions will showcase Liberty University alumni and students who are living out what it means to be a Champion for Christ.

One of the most anticipated areas in the new Jerry Falwell Center is the Event Space. We’ll be able to host event check-ins, conferences, wedding receptions, career fairs, corporate events, movie and video game nights, and even live concerts — all in this truly versatile venue.

I cannot wait to see the completion of this new building! This state-of-the-art, multipurpose facility will not only be a space you want to spend time in, but it will also be a permanent reminder of God’s blessing on Dr. Jerry Falwell’s mission to Train Champions for Christ.

Being a Champion for Christ means honoring Him through our work each day. As we observe Labor Day today, I want to encourage you to honor Him in your work. God has set specific tasks before you, and you should rejoice in the chance to honor Him with your labor!

A Champion for Christ knows God’s purpose for his or her life is to walk in His Spirit, working for His people’s unity. As you get ready for a new semester of classes, reflect on God’s purpose for your life, and ask Him to help you find ways to walk worthy of His calling!

Psalm 127:1 says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” This is the driving commitment behind what we’re building here at the center of our campus. May God continue to bless us as we train and inspire the next generation of young Champions!

We all face many decisions in life, some of them easy and some of them very difficult. In such times, look to God’s wisdom to help you decide, and always remember your calling to love Him above all and to love your neighbor as yourself.

Dear Lord, we can barely comprehend the infinite depth of Your love, but we thank You for extending that love to us, even when we feel most weak or at our most broken! Help us love others the way You do. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
