New regulations from Department for Transport require all buses to have audible and visual information for passengers by 2026. This has been standard in London for some years but is on only a minority of vehicles elsewhere. A big improvement for passengers!

I was sorry to learn of the death of #FrankField . He had been a very supportive member of our Governing Council, 2013 – 2016. In Autumn 2016, we met for a drink at the Curzon Mayfair (!) to discuss the National Institute of Economic and Social Research's work on social policy: I learnt a lot.
