The solution here is easy: Bring back the Colorado Rockies nickname -- good enough for the baseball team! -- colors, mimicking the state flag, and logo, a classic.

They've had about two dozen colors on their three iterations.
Red Wings: Red, White.
Toronto: Blue, White.

If the Red Wings aren't in the playoffs, which has been the case since 2016, I root for:
-Coaches and players I know;
-A Canadian team to break the national Stanley Cup drought stretching back to 1993;
-As many Game 7s as possible.

No idea how they do this, but I'm watching.
