#Sierra Leone’s Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Hon. Justice Nicholas C. Browne-Marke has received an expert delegation from the Dutch Document Investigation Unit of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, Ministry of Justice and Security based in the Netherlands.

#The House of Parliament has unanimously approved the newly appointed Justice of the Supreme Court of Sierra Leone, Hon. Abdulai Masiyambay Bangurah.
The Honourable Judges were there to witness the confirmation of the appointment of Mr. Bangura as a Justice of the Supreme Court.

Hon. Justice Amy Wright has today commenced proceedings (Call Over) on 50 criminal cases brought before the High Court marking the opening of the January 2024 High Court Criminal calendar.

#The High Court has today varied the bail conditions of former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma (Accused/Applicant) to allow him travel out of the jurisdiction to seek medical attention.
The Accused/Applicant shall continue to observe the other terms of the Bail Conditions.

#Sierra Leone’s former President, Ernest Bai Koroma, charged with treason, Misprision and harbouring appeared in Court before His Worship Magistrate Santigie I.S. Bangura.
Accused Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma was arraigned on a-four-count indictment brought against him by the State.

11 out of the 12 persons charged with treason and other related offences appeared in Court today. The charges weren't put to them because one of the accused persons, Bai Mahmoud Bangura, was reported sick and admitted at the Kingtom police hospital, F/town.

#The High Court Judge in Kenema, Hon. Justice Francis Banks-Kamara on 14th Dec, 2023 sentenced Abdulai Ibrahim, a farmer of Tojobu village, Kenema Judicial District, to 45 years imprisonment for Murder.
This came after the jury returned a guilty verdict following his trial.

#Court of Appeal has ordered the Appellant (Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma) to jointly and severally refund Seventy Billion, Two Hundred and Ninty Four Million, Two Hundred and Sixty Four Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty Three Leones; Three Million USD within 30 days into the CR Fund.

#COI PANEL 2: The Court of Appeal presided over by Hon. Justice Fatmatta Bintu Alhadi, has just dismissed the 7 grounds of Appeal by the former President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma against the judge-led Commission of Inquiry.

Accused CHARLEY pleaded guilty and begged for mercy.
