Update: The first Canadian Armed Forces evacuation flight from Yellowknife took place last night. An Royal Canadian Air Force CC-130 Hercules transported 79 long-term care residents to Edmonton. More evacuation flights are planned for today – and we’ll be there to help for as long as it takes.
