Fayette County rivalry Friday, Meadow Bridge at Midland Trail features two up-and coming sophomore RBs in MT’s Jayden Roop and MB’s Kaiden Roop. They are 2-3 in Coalfield Conference in rushing as each team is off to 2-0 start. Roop has 235 yd, 5 TD, Sims 220 yd, 2 TD.

Meadow Bridge sophomore RB Kaiden Sims had 254 yards yards and three TD in a 30-14 victory against Craig County, Va. He had three straight games of 200+ yards to end season, and had 1,605 yards on the season (tops in the Coalfield Conference) and 15 TD.

For first time since late last year the Power I returned to Meadow Bridge’s offense in 28-0 win against Webster County. Coach Dwayne Reichard got it installed during bye. The results:
Kaiden Sims (26) had 148 in 27 carries and 2TD and Conner Mullins (22) 2 rush TD.

Meadow Bridge running back Kaiden Sims went off last night in a 38-22 win against Clay-Battelle rushing for 402 yards and six TDs. The yards mark isn’t school record coach Dwayne Reichard said but rush TD might be. TD runs covered 23, 49, 76, 72, 29 and 2 yards.

In a tight 12-6 OT loss to 8-0 Montcalm, Meadow Bridge’s Kaiden Sims rushed for 91 yards and the lone score. He also had eight tackles. It was Montcalm’s first ever win vs. MB.
