8.8 mile hike Arches National Park w 1000’ elev change. The Devil’s Garden hike included so much more than arches—the trail was difficult in parts but a great variety of terrain and vistas. Highly recommend!!

I wish more areas in the US, particularly National Parks and RV parks offered composting as an option to throwing all our scraps into the trash. When home in SF, we compost everything—no natural food items go into the garbage. Instead, it all gets composted. So easy to do!!

Hiked the Golden Throne Trail above the Capitol Gorge—I’m getting in great shape and looking forward to exchanging my hiking poles for golf clubs in a couple weeks!

Was grocery shopping in Loa, UT at Royals Food Town & happily agreed to round up my purchase to support the Wayne High School Golf team in Bicknell, UT. Go Badgers! Best of luck this season—hoping both the girls & boys teams are strong and equally supported. I’ll be following!!

Massive hike today covering 8.8 miles in 6 hours out and back to the Zion Subway. It took a lot of balance managing the boulders and rocks in the Left Fork River up to the payoff spot…with an ending 400+ foot straight up assault to the truck.
