Dr. Canisius Kanangire AATF Africa emphasized the role of journalists in the smooth transfer of agricultural information from the researchers into the hands of those who need it most - the smallholder farmers.
Dr. Canisius Kanangire, Executive Director AATF Africa announced that a curriculum to train journalists on science and agriculture journalism is being developed and is expected to be launched in Malawi during the annual Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB) forum.
The African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF) and the Kenya Editors' Guild have formed a partnership to bridge the information gap between researchers and farmers across Africa. The MoU signing ceremony was held earlier today at the AATF Africa offices in Nairobi.
