In this study of up to ~474,000 UK Biobank participants, we found a higher adherence to the EAT-Lancet reference diet to be associated with lower incident cancer risk and all-cause mortality. 🌎🌱🥗

Our latest paper on dietary amino acids and risk of stroke subtypes in EPIC-CVD is now online in the European Journal of Nutrition. We found that people with higher intake of the amino acid proline had lower ischaemic stroke risk.

We estimated GHG emissions, land use, water use, water pollution (eutrophication) and biodiversity impact of real-life vegan, vegetarian, fish-eating and meat-eating diets.

All five outcomes strongly correlated with animal-based foods in diet.
