In this study of up to ~474,000 UK Biobank participants, we found a higher adherence to the EAT-Lancet reference diet to be associated with lower incident cancer risk and all-cause mortality. 🌎🌱🥗

We estimated GHG emissions, land use, water use, water pollution (eutrophication) and biodiversity impact of real-life vegan, vegetarian, fish-eating and meat-eating diets.
All five outcomes strongly correlated with animal-based foods in diet.
