I’m very pleased the Senate unanimously adopted my amendment with Sheldon Whitehouse to allow assets seized from sanctioned Russian oligarchs and entities supporting Putin to be used to the benefit of the Ukrainian people.

I spoke to Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project about the need to extend anti-money laundering responsibilities beyond traditional US banks to other sectors routinely exploited by criminals.
