An argument between two men on Thursday morning left one deceased in the parking lot of a business near Maryland Parkway and Karen Avenue.

A man was killed Thursday evening while sitting in a parked vehicle near Christy Lane and Washington Avenue. A suspect walked toward the parked vehicle and opened fire.

On October 20, 2022, off-duty LVMPD detective Michael Lyons, 33, was arrested for kidnapping 2nd degree and coercion domestic violence with threat or use of physical force.

There will be a large police presence and loud noise.
The training should conclude around 10 a.m.
